This work week was short for me since we had monday off. It was also the slowest week since my boss is out of country on vacataion. Mind you this is the first time he has taken a "real" vacataion where didn't IM or e-mailed to check up on me. This was also the most productive week to work on my website (from work). MUAHAHAHA. I normally get off at 6:30 but I think I may sneak out early since there are very few people at work.

My car has about 68K miles and it has never given me any problem but the owner's manual suggests that I should get it checked after 60K miles. I had previously arranged to drop of my car to our mechanic since he has today off. So I called him up last night to let him know I will be coming. He tells me "you mean I have to come there?" I said no, I said I AM COMING THERE. When I got to his house I told him to make sure to change the transmission fluid as we previously discussed. He said "You know if you want me to do it I'll do but its not cheap and its gonna cost you." Then he asked him what else he should check. I was thinking shouldn't he know. I told him the owner's manual in the glove compartment and it has the chart. He said "Well you know I will never open your glove compartment if you don't ask me to." I said well I'm asking you to. I left his house thinking this man is a nut job. I was later speaking with me dad and he said the guy drinks a "little" every night =) I will be leaving in a few hours to pick up my car. I hope he didn't drink while working on it and remembered to change the damn transmission fluid.
