One of my goals with this website is to be able to maintain picture galleries. Luckily there is a module for drupal that lets you do exactly the same thing. Unfortunately it needed either "ImageMagick" or GD libraries to be isntalled in order to create thumbnails. Fortunately ImageMagick was installed on my server. After getting a path to the executable, I tried uploading images. The original would always get uploaded but thumbnails won't be generated. My frustration level was reaching it's max. I was almost ready to be give up!!

So I go to my hosting company's forum where I always find useful information. I search for past threads about ImageMagick and I come across a thread instead about GD where someone claimed GD was installed on the server. Duh! I didn't even think about trying that out. Went back to my site, changed the settings to use GD intead. Uploaded an image and WALA. It works. So you should soon be seeing several new funny pictures.
